How to become a member:
ALPI Membership Online Application
Review and sign ALPI Code of Conduct (included in the ALPI Membership Form)
Pay ALPI Membership Fee:
₹ 4000 for 3 years
₹ 1000 discount for Begin Ed India students and graduates
ALPI Membership Certificate provided after process complete
ALPI is an active professional association, where we want all our members to remain active in membership. Please review the ALPI Membership Renewal Process below:
ALPI Membership for all is for a 3 year term, as reflected on the ALPI Membership Certificate.
After the 3 years period, ALPI Members will reapply for membership renewal.
This process includes:
Proof of continuing education through ALPI Meet-Ups, events, conferences etc.
25 hours each membership term
Education can be I-LEH, CERPs, or other similar education units
Application for Membership Renewal (by Google Form)
A renewal fee (₹2,000 for 3 years)
After the membership renewal process is complete, the member will receive an updated ALPI Membership Certificate reflecting the new date.
ALPI Membership in no way replaces the need for prior training, credentials and on-going education in the field of lactation. ALPI members have prior training and certification before becoming ALPI members. If any ALPI member is found in violation of this, ALPI reserves the right to terminate that person's membership.
Lactation Professionals include Lactation Consultants (IBCLC), Certified Lactation Professionals, Lactation Counselors and other recognized certifications with both lactation coursework and clinical lactation experience.
