ALPI is supporting lactation professionals, working at various levels and different stages of the lactation profession. ALPI's mentoring sessions are customized to the individual lactation student's requirements. The mentor and the student will design a plan together, dedicated to the student's growth and support in the lactation field. ALPI Mentoring Session Goals:
To mentor lactation professionals in India with necessary practical lactation skills
To mentor aspiring IBCLCs and other advanced level lactation professionals
To support lactation professionals who are passionate about learning and earning for their professional services
To increase the impact of the lactation profession across India
To train with excellent knowledge, practice and skills
To ensure ethical lactation practice and adherence to the WHO Code and IMS Act
To grow in understanding of "Scope of Practice" and building your own support team in a referral based system
Mentoring Fees Mentoring Sessions are chargeable and based on the individual mentor's rates.
Please note: Mentorship fees are to be agreed upon by the mentor and the individual lactation student. A mentor is giving their time and appointment windows for families, so these services are chargeable.
